Booking can be submitted without payment, but the bike is not reserved until deposit is paid. You can submit a booking without paying a holding deposit. However, without a $20 holding deposit, the bike is not reserved for you. If another customer visits the store earlier and confirms the bike, the store may allocate the bike to that customer. Paying the $20 holding deposit helps secure a bike until your scheduled store visit. Final rental is still subject to in-store viewing/test ride, contract signing and full payment. If you visit the store and no suitable bike is available or you are not satisfied after viewing/test ride, the holding deposit can be refunded.

As far as we are aware, bicycles are allowed on trains. Kindly switch off the power prior to station entry, and push the bike instead of riding. Please yield to other passengers, secure the bike properly and comply with directions from staff.

We regret that e-bikes are not permitted on trams. The steps make access difficult, and the limited space means it is impractical to board and stow the bike without inconveniencing other passengers.

Yes, a refundable security bond is required for all rentals, and the amount is non-negotiable. The bond amount is usually between $300 and $700, depending on the customer's identification, visa/residency status, proof of address, supporting documents, rental history and final store assessment. Indicative bond amounts: Student customers with valid student ID: from $300 Other customers: usually $500-$700, depending on the documents provided and store assessment The bond is refundable at the end of the rental, subject to return of the e-bike and included accessories, payment of any outstanding fees, and inspection for damage, loss or cleaning charges.

We do require a refundable deposit. It will be returned to you if there is no damage or missing parts.

You can send a digital copy first for pre-check, but please bring your physical ID with you when you arrive. We’ll also need to check your visa document when completing the rental agreement.
